In writing the four books of the Displaced Dynasties series, care was taken to provide a sufficient number of tables and timelines to orient the reader to the chronology of the events under discussion. Unfortunately the format did not permit any overall summary of the resultant changes to the dynastic chronology of Egypt. This section of the webpage will attempt to remedy that omission, beginning with table A which contrasts the Displaced Dynasties dynastic dates with the dates for each dynasty at the time of J.H. Breasted (early 1900's) and the Egyptologist Alan Gardiner in the mid to late 1900's.
Table A is followed by a second table (B) which highlights the many synchronisms which exist between Displaced Dynasties events and happenings in multiple contemporary Near Eastern cultures. This section will enlarge over time as research proceeds to confirm the DD chronology. The table was created by and is monitored by Stuart Graham M.D., president of the Center For Health Care, Medical in Poway, California.
The balance of this section provides opportunity for the author to argue various points in defense of the revised Egyptian chronology, in particular by demonstrating that the altered Egyptian history dovetails perfectly with Assyrian and Babylonian history, providing the latter is first revised and properly interpreted. The first two articles published in this section were put online in October 2014. A third was added early in November. This third paper, which began as a search for a king named Ashuruballit, evolved into a modest revision of a small segment of Babylonian history. This suggested the need for a more comprehensive revision of Babylonian dynastic history, which began in earnest in our fourth paper and was continued in papers #5-11b, the last paper added in May, 2016. The final papers in that series also made modest adjustments to the interpretation of the earliest phases of Assyrian history.
